Warner Baptist Celebrates its Annual Deaconess Day
On Sunday, March 9, 2014 Reverend Jerry Bryant was the guest preacher at the Deaconess Day Service. He was accompanied by several members of his church that included deacons, deaconesses, ushers, musicians, choir, and others.
He used Psalm 91 for his scripture. In his message he stressed that God is able and Christians should stay under his wings because God can provide. If you trust and believe in God he will be your refuge and fortress in life.
Anyway, I recommend you read Psalm 91 in its entirety.
Chantilly's choir, the "Visions of Zion" with Sister Renae Barr, at the piano, rendered some beautiful songs. I mean, they were really into what they were singing.
I didn't ask them if they had a CD on the market.
Other guests for the service included: Deaconess Dora Brooks, Oak Shade Baptist Church, Catlett,
Virginia; Deaconess Louise Taylor, Peach Baptist, Dunn Loring, VA; Deaconess Barbara White, Mt Pleasant Baptist, Alexandria, VA and Dr. Janice Winters of Resurrection Baptist in Reston, Virginia.
Oh, before we entered the Sanctuary for worship service we were treated to a full course delicious meal by Warner Baptist renowned culinary ministry. Their service was exceptional.
Deaconess Regina Crawley is the Chairperson of Warner Baptist Deaconess Ministry and Reverend Matthew J. Pearson is the pastor.
